The Human League were big Jupiter-4 users in the late 70's and early 80's. The origional Human League (1977 - 1980) used the Jupiter-4 a lot in the early days and its all over the 'Reproduction' and 'Travelogue' albums. Songs like 'Blind Youth' and 'Empire State Human' are full of Jupiter-4. Basically, every track on 'Reproduction' and 'Travelogue' is full of Jupiter-4. The Jupiter-4 was also used on the classic 'Dare' album. Just listen to 'Seconds'.
Here is my demo of 'Seconds':

Gary Numan Used a JUpiter-4 on his 1980 album 'Telekon'. Listen to 'I dream of wires', it opens up with the Jupiter-4 'Voice' preset played on Unison II mode. _________________ Jupiter-4, Juno-60, JX-3P, CS-40M, Multiman, Wavestation EX, VL-Tone |

I know this was already mentioned, but I just got my Juiter-4 a few weeks ago and just in playing around with it, I figured out how Nick Rhodes used it for a few songs.
Everybody already knows the arpeggio in Rio is from the JP-4, but also the first maybe 10 seconds in "Last Chance on The Stairway" is the Piano preset used with the arpeggio on Random with just a C chord. The sequence is played through the whole song, but it's most evident in the intro.
The eerie haunting sound in the intro of "Waiting for the Nightboat" is from the JP-4 using the arpeggio on Up mode and heavily modulation from the second LFO.
When I get some free time I'll post some videos on YouTube to demonstrate. I love this synth!~ |

| Back to Numan for a sec, as well as "Telekon" check out the album "Dance" (my favourite) full of the JP-4, in particular check the random arpeg on the stunning Cry, The Clock Said and the fankly odd I Sing Rain. |
