Keyboard Stands for Jupiter synths

Postby noidear » Wed Feb 06, 2008 12:14 am

I am looking for a 3 tier stand for my Jupiter 8 and 6 and one other synth to go on the top tier, and was wondering if anyone here can recommend a decent one. I looked at the Quiklok QL-623 but the second tier arms are not long enough for the depth of the jupiters. I saw some interesting looking stands in the registry thread of the Jupiter 8 section, but cant see what they are called, so if anyone can recommend any to look at, or if worst comes to worst a 2 tier stand will have to do. Thanks

Look at the Ultimate Deltex or Apex stand. They come with 2 tiers but you can add more.

You can see them here http://www.ultimatesupport.com/

The V-Stand also looks interesting and heavy duty.

I had a K2600 and a Jupiter 8 on a Deltex, but it was probably pushing things a bit. The APEX are much more heavy duty.

Thanks for the info Puppeteer. That looks quite sturdy and I have found a couple of shops that sell them, although quite pricey over here. I will def give that one some thought. I also have a Kurzweil, K2500 though, and yes they are quite heavy so it might be worth looking at the Apex in case I decide to put that on the bottom tier. Thanks again.
