eBay auction shows nice P-touch "cheatsheet"

This is such a cool idea, I'm surprised Synthcom doesn't offer something like this. Imagine how nice this might be if it was professionally laid out on Lexan or similar material...

Yeh that looks cool, even a magnetic strip of that would be good!

Maybe customsynth.co.uk could come up with an overlay?

NOW you're talking. Magnetic strips are pretty cheap to get custom-printed ... after all, look at all the synth magnets on eBay for just a few bucks.

Who knows - after I get Europa maybe I'll try designing something and doing up a small run.

Alright, I took a stab at this. See the attached jpg. I tried to color code things intuitively. Purple is arpeggiator, grey is something that requires knobs or keys to program, blue is dump to midi, black is general system parameters.

I like the magnet idea. I think it would be best applied directly below the A-F 1-8 buttons rather than on the angled piece above the keys like the auction photo. The A-F 1-8 on my jpg wouldn't be needed. I envision the parameters I have on the bottom placed to the right of the strip.

I should mention this is a rough draft and isn't properly to scale. I'd like some feedback, especially on the wording. For example I don't know the best way to describe the sequence functions in 11 letters or less. Also, did I leave anything helpful out? Of course everything can't be covered in such a small space. The original is only arpeggiator functions.

I just wanted to BUMP this up...

I was wonder if anyone did eventually make a Europa "cheat sheet" for their Jupiter 6.

It be great if someone made a file for download!
