Promars manual, anybody? Newbie here!

Postby alxm » Thu Mar 03, 2011 7:26 am

I would love to get my hands on one. Just picked up a Promars and Im a little SCARED of it....its very wild. Can anyone offer help? Also, I think one of the sliders on the VCA, the RELEASE slider, is toast. Does anyone know how I can find a replacement?
Cheers

Well for most of the basic functions check the Jupiter-4 manual, which is available here:

http://media.rolandus.com/manuals/JP-4_OM.pdf

Just ignore the Poly/Unison modes, the Arpeggiator and Modifier sections.

The VCO-2 detune section should be self-explanatory - you can detune the second oscillator and switch between A-Tune, Off or B-Tune.

Everything else is pretty much the same. I'm sure the memory section will work in exactly the same way.
